New Albany Symphony Orchestra’s Derby Party

Hues of Imagination a beautiful group show with works from OPAL - the Ohio Pastel Artists League. Discover pastels – their luminosity and vibrant color, their ability to be both a drawing and painting tool. For this show I used colored (blue hue) paper for the drawings. On view May 5 - June 25.

I thought I would make an effort to share some of the work I did when I was outside with a sketchbook. As much as I like doing Plein Air; I find I'm easily distracted by birds and animals or the changing light.
